Universal Static Suite Project Type

InstallShield 11 Universal

The Universal Static Suite Installer project type installs a suite of products. The referenced products can be Universal Installers, Dynamic Suites, and converted MultiPlatform Version 5.x projects (<projectName>.uip files). All of the referenced products are built into the suite as one product at build time.

RPM Installer projects cannot be included in a Static Suite.

It is recommended that assemblies or Universal Dynamic Suites be used instead of Static Suites whenever possible. See Assemblies vs Static Suites for a list of the benefits of using assemblies and Dynamic Suites.
