Using the Project Assistant

InstallShield 11 Universal

The Project Assistant is available to assist you in designing all or specific portions of your project by providing pertinent information for each step. You can access it at any time to update any part of your project.

How to Access the Project Assistant

When you create a new Universal Installer project, InstallShield automatically opens the Project Assistant tab. The Project Assistant asks you a series of questions and, based on your answers and selections, creates the project for you. If you want to use the Installation Designer to further define your project, select its tab at any time. You can always go back to the Project Assistant to complete all or part of your project.

Once you are in the Project Assistant, the icons on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen enables you to move back and forth between the steps.
